Gap Swimsuit Recall

Another Gap recall, this time on 2 Baby Gap swimsuits. The halter is too short causing the plastic tie to be too close to the baby's neck, there were two complaints, zero injuries.

Honestly we have both of these swimsuits and while I'll make sure I don't put K down to nap or anything in them, we won't be returning them.

Secret Gap Sale!!

Gap Canada had an unadvertised sale of 25% off regular priced items today - I don't know if it's going on tomorrow, but call your store and check, I would imagine because the Old Navy sale is tomorrow, this one will be too.

Gap Canada - 25% off all markdowns!

Went to Gap to use my Wednesday coupon and this time there was plenty I wanted!!

I bought my oldest the peace sign bermuda shorts, 3 t-shirts for $20.00 and a sweater that was marked down to $9.99 and then - all markdowns were an additional 25% off!! 

They had tons of t-shirts and tanks marked down to $6.99, great deal when you add the additional 25%!

Gap Online in Canada? Will it *FINALLY* Happen??

Gap has been promising us online shopping capabilities in Canada for years, but it looks like it finally might be in the works!! 

They sent out an email survey this week and this is what was included;

"Thinking back to shopping online for apparel, we have a new website idea and we would like to know how appealing it is to you.

What if all three Gap Inc. brands -- Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic -- were offered online via one Canadian website. You could shop or buy from one, two, or all three sites and checkout one time with one low shipping fee. All orders would ship within Canada (and avoid duties, fees and delays). The site would be offered in English and French and all prices would be in Canadian dollars. How appealing is this new website?"
 
" Here is some exciting news -- Gap Inc. will launch a new Canada retail website in 2010. Watch your email updates for the official launch date of Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy’s new online store! ."

This is so exciting because Gap Online has amazing sales, and we would finally have access to new stock (and actual stock not one or two items) for Give and Get sales!!

It's Wednesday!!

You know what that means - Gap 40% off for us lucky coupon holders. I hope to find some things to actually buy this week rather than give all of my coupons away. However, I am in desperate need of some new clothes so even if I can't find anything for the girls, I'll give myself some time to shop.

I am also going to The Children's Place to see what is out from their new line Hip Chick, it's adorable and finally something my 8 year old will love!!

Gap Sale?

There are rumours of a sale at Baby Gap right now, 30% off all regular priced items at 15% off sale. Since most stores just got a load of new stock in, this sale is finally timed right.

The kicker, some stores seem to be participating and some do not - so call ahead!! Winnipegers, ours are not participating :( They do have 25% off all clearance right now for adults though.

Americans, all stores seem to be participating in the U.S.

So, how was shopping?

It was a big shopping night, with Gymbuck Redemption and Gap 40% off, how did you do?

I vowed to only purchase for my oldest daughter (8) because she desperately needs clothes and the youngest two most definitely do not!

I must say, it wasn't easy! She is outgrowing the Gymboree style and really didn't like much. She desperately wanted some Malibu Cowgirl so we settled on this,

They didn't have the top in our size, but Madi has an adorable top from Joe that will match perfectly.

Gap was even worse, they had nothing in our sizes, the inventory was so low. What a waste!
Next Wednesday I plan on going and buying a few things for myself.

I didn't get one at either Gap or Baby Gap, but when I asked at Gap they gave me two.

This coupon is good for one regular priced purchase at Gap, Baby Gap, Gap Outlet on each Wednesday from the 31st of March to mid April.

They changed the coupon this month, and it's no longer something you can copy, sneaky Gap!

Big Sale Weekend!!

The grass is turning green and my wallet is not!! There are some pretty good sales going on this weekend, starting today, so be sure to check them out!

Gymboree originally was to be having Fill a Bag starting today, where all purchases are 30% off. This sale started last year and was fabulous. Because it's store wide, with no coupon necessary, you could stack a coupon on top of the already wonderfully amazing 30% off and get an additional 20% off your purchase.

Sadly, for many speculated reasons, Gymboree decided to cancel FAB (or at least postpone) and instead they're having a t-shirt sale. All of the tops from the new line (Popsicle Party) are $14.00.

You can still add a coupon to your purchase, bringing the tops down to $11.20 each, great deal!

20% off coupons are in the April edition of Parents magazine, March Parenting (the early years) magazine and in select Pampers diapers. 

Gap is having it's bi-annual Give & Get  sale this weekend. When you bring in the Give & Get coupon (today through Sunday) you will receive 30% off your purchase (excluding a small amount of items like Junk Food Tees, Stella wear, etc. so check the fine print!) To get a coupon, click here.

The coupon is also good at Old Navy, Gap Outlet stores and Banana Republic, and can be used more than once.

Also, Winnipegers - Lululemon just filled up the sales racks so make sure to stop by and see what you can find. Preferably not until after I go tomorrow. ;)
